Do you want to work from home, receive a guaranteed income, have the flexibility to get on with your own daily tasks but also carry out a hugely diverse care role when called upon?
If the answer is yes, then the opportunity to become a member of our very own newly formed ’emergency community care responder’ team is just the job for you!
As part of your role, alongside a full induction and ‘traditional’ care related training you will also receive extensive training in risk assessment, making every contact count, trusted assessor training, environmental risk assessment, falls management, SBAR communication and much more. Allowing you to be competent in what is a very rewarding and diverse role.
You will be based at home during fixed hour shifts and will receive guaranteed hours and a guaranteed income regardless of whether or not you are called upon to respond to an emergency care response or care need. You will be supported by a supervisor at all times, thanks to our office being open and manned 24 hour a day.
On top of all this, you will be provided with a smart phone, full uniform, specialist equipment which will allow you to work with teams such as the community Rapid Response nursing team and the ambulance service.
Available shifts are as follows:
Mornings:
Monday to Sunday: 7am – 11am
Evenings:
Monday – Thursday: 5pm – 10pm
Fridays: 2pm – 10pm
Saturday & Sunday: 4pm – 10pm
Your rota and hours will be fixed and shifts are paid at a fixed guaranteed rate. Mileage is paid on top of your fixed earnings, should you be called out.
Some essential requirements of the role
- You will need to be flexible for the needs of the business and work effectively on your own and with other team members
- You MUST hold a current British driving licence and have your own vehicle
